Falcon Youth Camp 2011

I can not believe that camp is over for this year! It feels like it just started and now I have to wait a whole year for camp to come again! God has been working so much in me lately and has shown me so much during camp! The first week I was there I had two girls accept Jesus for the first time and about 5 who rededicated! We serve a mighty and holy God!

My heart is on fire for the future generation right now! We live in such a corrupt and sinful world and everyone seems to be okay with the way that we are living. But It is not okay!!!! As Christians we are called to live above what the world says is fine and live according to what the bible tells us to do! I know that I am guilty of living a life below the standards of God but I am so thankful that we all have a God who can and does forgive! No matter what we have done or what we will do God is always willing to forgive if we have a heart that is sincerely sorry.

We need to not be okay with a “little white lie” or watching TV that has sex, alcohol, cursing, and drugs. We need to think twice before we listen to another song that is on the Top 100 list. We need to not make Idols of the celebrities today because they will be gone tomorrow.

Our children are growing up thinking that it is “normal” to cheat on a test or to bully someone. Its normal for kids to experiment with drugs, alcohol and homosexuality. That Sex is what everyone is doing, and that talking back to parents and authorities are how a normal conversation is to occur.

I don’t know about you but the current stat in which this generation is in breaks my heart! Our world may seem fine to everyone but let me tell you, it is ripping at the seems! I know that we are in moral chaos.

The only answer for what is coming and what is happening now is Prayer. Parents, teachers, leaders, please, please pray for our young people!

It is not to late because I have seen teenagers lives changed with prayer. The youth of this generation are crying out for answers and hope!

We have an obligation and it is not optional.

The Perfect Birthday Ever!!

I had the most wonderful birthday ever this year! I was blessed to have my boyfriend with me for my birthday because we live two states apart but the Lord is good and worked everything out perfectly. The morning of my birthday we went kayaking with two of my good friends Chad and Elizabeth.
This was the second time Tony had been kayaking so I was so excited for him to go with me!

Chad and Elizabeth!
The best birthday dinner ever!
Thank you everyone for such a wonderful birthday! I can't wait to spend many more with my wonderful family and friends! I have never been so happy or so blessed!

Ps. Tony got me a Amazon Kindle for my birthday! So I was wondering if someone could recommend some books for me to read or some tips from Kindle users?

Have a great weekend!

Happy General Lee day!

General William C. Lee was born and raised in Dunn, North Carolina. He was one of the founders of the United States Airborne devision and helped with training our first air jumpers.
The town I live in is very proud of our own "D-Day Fighter" and every year in June, we celebrate what General Lee accomplished.

My Grandfather was aid to General Lee during the WWII!

MMM Yummy Peach Custard Pie, with homemade crust!!
Fire works in honor of the General Lee Celebration!! Soo Pretty!!
What Cute love birds! (Amber and Parker). The park was so perfect for celebrating one of America's finest hero's!
My bestie (Amanda) at the park having a blast!
Noel! I love her new bangs!!
Town history is so important to keep alive and honored! I thank God everyday for our brave men and women who fight so hard to keep our nation and world at peace! Sometimes I may not agree with everything our nation decides to do but I really appreciate all the hard work that is put in to keeping us safe! We are all just humans trying to live this life the best we can. It says in the bible that...

Genesis 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Then we are too...

Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

And through Him...

Psalms 93:1 The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

To me this all means that we are put here only because of God and what we do on earth is our worship to him. We have a choice to live for Him or to live against Him. To obey or to not obey. I know this world would be where it is with out our brave men and women in the military! As Christians we need to be on our toes as well, because we never know when our sweet little lives will become a spiritual battle ground!

Thanks Troops! and Thank you to all the men and women before them!
